Felix Townsend received the 2024 Tidbits of Change Award for his amazing efforts to invoke One Million Acts of Love.
The Vancouver island teenager lost his younger sister to a rare disease called Blau syndrome six years ago, just before her seventh birthday, and Felix and his parents collaborated on a heartfelt project to help advance research into the disease. The global kindness movement had the goal to inspire one million acts of kindness across the world by Dec. 16, 2024 which would have been Lexi’s 12th birthday.
Felix has travelled around the world as an advocate for people affected by Blau syndrome, presenting at medical conferences and other speaking engagement to raise awareness and funds. “I want all kids to have the same opportunity I’ve had to make a positive impact,” he said.
